Much more was done last night but I wanted to share the motto for the front doors in particular.  Much umming and aarring was done so I eventually went with "Mors Tua Vita Mea"

So it has been a while since I updated my blog, I have no special excuse other than I am a lazy shite......

Anyway decided that the Coteaz Land Raider was starting to gather dust (literally) which I couldn't have so have started to paint it.

I was originally worried it would look too Khornate with the skulls but as the other details have started going on feel much better about it in general.

The Emperor's Guard

Space Wolves pushed to one side as there was no way I was going to get them all done in time for the beginning on September without rushing them and as I am enjoying them too much that was not an option.  So reverted to my Imperial knights and trying to get them finished instead.  Far easier ask.....
 
Over the last week I have been working on Ixion (the Acheron) and Iapetus (the Lancer) and guess what........subject to the bases being painted they are both done and I have a substantial little force of knights to rock it at Throne of Skulls, will most likely take some of my other gear with so I can alter my list if knights are boring having never actually used them :D
 



First up Iapetus, the electrical effect on this guy's gear is far superior to Gungnir's Wrath

Started working on the riders for the Thunderwolves.  Realised that I had used the wrong shoulder pad for the left pauldron making it somewhat a challenge to paint a Deathwolves Company marking on it, but having read some of the fluff it seems that there may be variations on the general theme so instead of a red pauldron with a black wolf head eating a white star I will do a red pauldron with a black wolf head and a white star behind the head and off to the upper left of it.  If anyone moans about it I will show them my face of mucho concern

The thunderwolves are all done, sadly had a really busy week last week and they took about 4 days more than I would have liked, but hey ho what can you do, life is what happens when you have made other plans.

 Having decided to go to another Throne of Skulls in September I have set myself a challenge......an entirely new 1750 point army.  In order to tie it in with my Armageddon themed imperial army I decided to go with Space Wolves, plus it means I can spend a vast amount of points on Thunderwolves and the like so I don't have to paint many models :D

Army is made up of the following

So in order to get over the 5 losses to varying forms of space hairdresser at Throne of Skulls at the weekend I decided to treat myself..........To another knight, because like pokemon got to catch them all or some shit

Made from a Red Scorpion Chest, Chaos Sorcerer Legs, Baneblade head, Scion Arm and shoulder pads, Rust Stalker Arm and a pimp cane made from the end of a GK force halberd.
