Conversion of Magnus has begun and so far I am very happy with where it is going!  What I have gone for is a mass of tentacles bursting from his forearm holding a single massive eyeball.....yes it is bizarre, the more bizarre the better!

Slow and steady wins the race?  Nah utter bullshit, focus and dedication does.......on to another conversion.  First of the exalted sorcerers, still need to sculpt an upper lip but sculpting can be time consuming at the best of times, so much time spent waiting for stuff to cure, lucky I have other models to build whilst I wait :D

Once cured, sand down one edge so it is flat, and add balls of putty with a little super glue and then with the end of a brush prod it to make a sucker.  Octopus tentacles are done.....



Attach to the model......now PAINT ME!!!!!!!

It was a close call, up till 1am on Friday morning painting and a little help from my friend Ben Lamble to paint the bases got them finished just in time, and a culexus too!!

Even managed to fluke Best Unit award at the Throne of Skulls.  I think I will add some light chipping to the red on them, like I did on the fatman

Back in the Saddle

It has been a while.........well it's been a fucking age since I last posted something.  I won't bore people with how crap life has been for me over the last 2 years suffice to say everything is most definitely on the up.  On and positive note I have been painting stuff just not posting it, so I might do a post soon with a catch up.

Gloves are off and I have set myself a challenge, paint 6 henchmen and a culexus assassin by Friday morning next week.

I have spent the last few days knocking up the henchmen and came up with this merry band of delinquents

ad mech legs, valkyrie crew body, baneblade crew arms, genestealer cult head, space wolf thunderwolf cav bolter (on back)

I have sortted out names and stuff for them all but I will wait till I get some paint on them first.

Much more was done last night but I wanted to share the motto for the front doors in particular.  Much umming and aarring was done so I eventually went with "Mors Tua Vita Mea"

Anyway decided that the Coteaz Land Raider was starting to gather dust (literally) which I couldn't have so have started to paint it.
